Curry N Kabob opened in June of 2005. It takes the place of a Pakistani kabob restaurant and has a similar menu. However the owners are Indian and they do not serve beef. (They are the same people who own Minerva Indian restaurant in the same shopping center.) Inside the restaurant is small, clean and unsophisticated. You order at the counter and your meal is served on styrofoam plates with plastic utensils. The menu is a modest selection of spicy curry dishes and a choice of chicken or lamb kabobs. Although your choices are limited, the portions are generous and the food is excellent. Entrees are served with rice and fresh hot buttered naan (flat bread). Prices range from about $5 to $8. I never thought about writing a review for a restaurant but Curry N Kabob made me change my mind. Loved the food and great people with a smile on their face taking your order. I haven't tried everything there yet but the mixed grill there left me wanting to go back. I'll definitely suggest it to my friends and co-workers.

It was my first time to this place and the food was yummmmm.....Iv never craved for Hyderabadi Biryani elsewhere after dining like I did at this place....Given a chance I would always come back to have here.....The place is neat and the food tasty as well as reasonable. You wouldnt regret it if you are looking for some authentic spicy hyderabadi food.

This is my favorite Indian food in Herndon. I usually get carry out, but they also have a good lunch buffet for eating in. The interior isn't as fancy as Supper Club or Minerva, but the food is excellent (same owners as Minerva) and the service is great. When I get the buffet the manager always brings out food to me for me to try. When it's busy the wait can get kind of long, so I call ahead if I'm going to carry out.

This restaurant serves the best biryani (dum) I have ever had outside of Karachi and that is the reason I carryout from here atleast twice a week. The wait can be long so it maybe better to call in early.

This is a very bares bones eatery. I went for the buffet, expecting some elaborate chafing dishes. Instead, the buffet is served from behind the counter, and it's not self serve. The workers serve you the buffet, so they can control portions. On the buffet table was Butter Chicken, Curry Chicken, Tandoori Chicken, Curried Cauliflower/Peas, etc. Provided also is Basmati Rice and Nan. Once again, you are served from the buffet table. I found the rice to be mushy, but the Nan was decent, a bit crusty and chewy. The Butter Chicken had decent flavor, but the chicken was too dry, as if the butter chicken had been simmering for a long time. Curry chicken wasn't that good. Sauce was oily. Didn't bother trying the Tandoori Chicken. The curried tomato dish was spicy, which was decent. The only dish I really liked was the curried cauliflower/peas. All the food was piping hot though. All in all, it was a decent price for what was offered, but not overwhelmingly good. Price was $6.95. Not urgent to return.

Not the fanciest of places, but it one of the best (Minerva's is my favorite - but they're essentially the same place) offerings of Indian food in the area. Their portions are huge - and getting a Mango Shake to top the meal off is a must!
