French Connections Cafe just started its gourmet dinners--and gourmet
is the word! Wonderful ginger carrot soup, nice portions of meat/fish,
and of course, the fresh desserts. Great service--the chef even came out
and talked with us! Highly recommend French Connections--finally, a place
for a nice gourmet dinner without having to go into DC and without DC
prices.

Sometimes the best food can be found in the most unassuming places. I
went to French Connections for the first time for brunch today and thought
the food was really good. My boyfriend got the French toast and I got
the baked egg dish ? both were fantastic. I think I found my new favorite
breakfast place and look forward to trying out the new dinner menu sometime
soon.

Lunch there today. Ordered one of the day's special:
"Paella Salad". It was outstanding. Rice with tiny shrimp, pieces
of chicken, spicy sausage, tomato and some herbs, shaped into a dome and
served with a lettuce leaf and a couple of tomato wedges. All my companions
were pleased w/ the food. Service is friendly and alert. Modest prices.

I have been to the "French Connection"three times,and each time the whole staff is VERY,VERY nice.They are very helpful,professional.Their quality of food is excellent.I would recommend this restaurant and bakery to anyone.It is relaxing to be there,and relax with some friends.

My family ate breakfast here yesterday. This is our first visit to the restaurant. We had eggs, croissant, cheese danish, breakfast sandwich and coffee. The food was very high quality and tasted delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant based solely on the food. The service provided here was also outstanding. Every employee was very friendly and helpful. They made us feel so welcome. Rarely do I ever receive such great service at restaurants.We will definitely visit French Connections again. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a breakfast place in Herndon.
