Joe Eiginger, the owner of Joe's Dog House, is a former I.T. professional who traded in his mouse pad for a dog house! The hot dogs are named after different breeds of canines. Some of the variations include hot dogs with chili, cheese, jalepenos, bacon and/or sauerkraut. You can choose from your standard beef hotdog, bratwurst or kielbasa. If you're not in the mood for a dog, there are several other menu items including burgers, chicken sandwiches and cheesesteaks.

During special events such as Friday Night Live and Herndon Festival Joe has a mobile hot dog stand to better serve all your hot dog needs. You can choose to rent this New York style cart or have your event catered.

Great food and service. When I walked in I was asked if I would be ordering fries so that a fresh batch could be put on straight away. I ordered onion rings, a Jalapeño Bacon Hot Dog, and a Doberman with Kraut. My food arrived quicker than I expected, and tasted great. I highly recommend the Jalapeño Bacon Hot Dog. The walls of the restaurant are covered with photos of various dogs and their names, and the people who work there are friendly.

This place caught my eye as I was driving by one day and coming from the big city myself I stopped by for a quick bite, I got served by Joe himself who was fun to talk to.. The food is great, cooked right in front of you and fast too !!. The chilli dog was great, fries and onion rings are crispy. Parking can be limited but well worth it and the place itself is fun with walls lined of dog pictures, toys etc. One of my favorite places. A very solid 8 / 10. (I'd give it a 10 but fast food can only go so high)
