I had bad experience at this resturant but one night my wife and I were
craving were afghan food and oddly we decided to go to Pamir Kabob House
since we were near Worldgate anyways. I ordered my regular lamb kabob
combo and my wife ordered the number 2 - chicken kabob. The food was really
good, I would highly recommend the food to anyone to enjoys an authentic
afghan taste with a little bit of variety and spice. The bread (nan) was
made fresh as we were waiting for our food and it was the best part of
the whole meal. There were enticing sides to choose from, that day they
had chickpeas, eggplant, and potatoes. My wife ordered the potatoes which
was really good and I was craving for some chickpeas. All in all it was
an improvement from the last time I went. The staff is very friendly the
owners daughter told me they recently bought the resturant from the previous
owner and they changed the place up a bit.

The foood here is amazingg!! I havent gone there for a while. I walked
in
and I thought I was in a different restaurant but then I spoke with the
young lady
at the counter and she told me its been under new management. They cleaned
up the place real nice. The food was delicious. I recommend this resturant
to anyone who likes afghani food...

Their food is GREAT!! It recently is under new management
by far one of the best Afghani restaurants I've been to. There's everything
you could want in a restaurant; they have all sorts of afghani food, from
appetizers to desserts and even fish kabob. I would highly recommend PAMIR
KABOB HOUSE!

I got a "to go" order to take back to
the office. At first I was surprised at the weight of my order for about
$8.50. It seemed like a lot of food. It took about 7 minutes for them
to cook it so it seemed pretty fresh. I had a combo with salad, rice,
bread and a kabob. The salad was decent, nice touch for lunch. The rest
was just nothing special. Half the bread was as crisp as a cracker. Despite
their claim of clay oven cooked bread daily it seemed like this piece
was at least two days old. Maybe they meant clay over-cocked bread. The
food wasn't bad (other than the bread) but nothing special. Most of the
weight was rice. I doubt I'd go there again. There are better kabob alternatives
with soft bread. I will admit after eating most of the food I was quite
full.

This came in where the chiandos the portugese used to be. Its definitely a better.. an improvement in menu, food, decor, service. The price seemed higher, but for the quantity of food it was reasonable. I did a carry out and I was suprised for the amount of food. I had to save it for dinner too. LOT OF RICE is complimented along with the your order esp. 1 order is good for 2 persons coz of the rice. There is only 1 veggie item available, the veggie platter, which is not on the main menu but is posted up there. Which inclues, a spinach salad, chickpea masala, and pita bread and lot of rice. Its alrite. Cant call it excellent, but for a total meat restaurant to figure out and prepare a veggie dish, can say it was far better. May visit again sometime

I definatley disagree with the first comment. There bread and kabobs are delicious. I work right across from worldgate and I go there during my lunch mostly everyday. I love there chicken kabob and gyro not to mention there chick peas. Cant forget the green & white sauce, u can put it on basically anything kabob, rice, kabob, salad, kabob, did i mention kabob? Im getting hungary just talking about it.

My wife and I come here often. There gyro is my favorite dipped with white sauce and chutney, my wife on the other hand favors the chicken kabob. Its a pretty reasonable price considering the amount of food they give. The bread is AMAZING I like how it is soft and moist. My wife and i usually went to Charcoal Kabob but the food is very spicey and not fresh, We prefer Pamir Kabob because it is close to the theater and has freshly made food.
