After reading many great reviews on yelp.com about the burke location I changed my mind from ordering from Z-Pizza and decided on Manginos Pizza. First off, the menu on there website for burke location is not the same for there herndon cuisine. So I had to stumble around with the guy on the phone and what they offered. So I ended up with a XXLarge Brooklyn Bridge pizza - had a coupon for a "gourmet" caprese salad, 10 hot wings and a 2 liter of Diet coke. 32$ for this order w/ free salad coupon. Which if this is gourmet pizza and salad I wouldn't think it was expensive. Well the pizza was average, topping were decent, nothing extra fresh or special and not enough cheese. I mean 20$ for a pie and you can't put enough cheese on it. Gourmet salad - I am not sure if it was the coupon I used or what, but if I would have paid 9$ for what was given to me, I would have been pretty upset. Hot wings were ok, typical frozen wing - baked and hit with some hot sauce. Boring and far from gourmet. All in all, the place was average. But there menu and other location boast about how NY gourmet there food is. I just don't see it. A bit pricey for average food that can be had from Pizza hut or Dominos for much better price. I doubt I will try this place again, since there are so many pizza shopes around, They only get one and done from me. Do yourself a favour and stick to the burke location or go somewhere else.
