The menu at Wah Taj is different from the menus at other Indian restaurants in Herndon. There are many, many choices, and no descriptions of the items. With categories like "Hamare Dakshin Se'" and menu items like " Pav Bhaji" and "Sada Dosa", the menu is very confusing even to someone who might frequent Indian restaurants. There seem to be appetizers in both the front and the back of the multi-page menu because the "a la carte" menu is basically a second appetizer menu. The servers are polite and try their best, but really are not that helpful in describing the menu items. Go ahead and try something even if you are unsure what it is, and you will probably not be disappointed if you like Indian food. We had the Aloo Tikka Chat, Ginger Chicken, Chili Fried Lamb, and everything was exceptionally delicious, spiced with a symphony of flavors. We left wanting to return soon to try the soups, noodle dishes, dosas, and more of the mysterious side dishes.

We went to this restaurant when some one told us that managment changed, we really liked the food and very good pleasing people with good hospitality. I never tasted like this before in any indian restaurant. I spoke to cheff directly :) and he felt so happy when I spoke to him. We all went fromt the work and we liked the place, by the way the new management changed the interior it looks pretty coool now. over all i give 8/10 for the food taste and 7 out of 10 for ambience

We had a wonderful evening at Wah Taj restrauant, very good place to have tasty Hyderabadi Indo-Chinese food. We had different varities of appetizers ordered by all and had a taste of each of them. The food was awesome and will recommend all to go atleast once for the taste of it and you will go again and again (I do not need to say. The new management have the good hospitality and will improve more as they learn. My best wishes to them and will visit again and again.

This is Minerva restaurant in different flavor. Minerva opened many restaurants and could not do business, hence started opening in different names. Old wine in new bottle( at least old wine tastes good, but not this one). Their fusion menu sounds good, but I would give 3/10 for the taste.
The restaurant was closed for christmas/new year(almost more than two weeks). Thought they wound up the business, but surprised to see them back.
If you are planning to visit...Expect nothing greater than the food in Minerva.

The description above is exactly correct, regarding the menu. There are no descriptions, but you're likely to not be disappointed. I had the Onion Dosa. It was visually striking, and absolutely delicious. At $7, this was a great value. However, I must say that the service is EXCEPTIONALLY poor. There were 3 waiters standing around watching a Cricket game on TV. It was 5 minutes before we were waited on. The waiter did not ask if we wanted drinks. I asked for a Coca-Cola. The waiter said one word "No". I had to ask if there was an alternative. He had to walk away and come back to let me know that Pepsi was the alternative. All 3 waiters seemed throughly confused. After the meal, it took about 30 minutes to get someone's attention to get the check. There were 2 other tables dining at the time. The decor is also pretty lacking. The walls are a stark glossy-bungundy with awful 80's style light fixtures. It is thrown together, and as a result a bit cold and not at all welcoming. If they train (or replace) the waiters and give the place a warm coat of paint and some lighting ambience, it could be a real winner. There is no doubt that the kitchen staff knows what they're doing.
